The Neem-based Nitrification Inhibitor

FAQ's

What is Margozyme

Margozyme is Eco-friendly Neem based powder of crushed Neem seed and kernel. It is a brown color powder and also effective in retarding the nitrification of urea for about 2 weeks and thus more nitrogen remained as Ammonium N for a long period.Long before the introduction of chemical fertilizers in Indian Agriculture, Neem seed, cake, & others oil seed cake were used as source of plant nutrients.

After introduction of chemical fertilizer in agriculture, organic manure might have been ignored by the farmers. Due to excess use of chemical fertilizer damaging soil fertility causing agriculture land turn into baron land which was the major problem to the farmer and agriculture scientist to control the situation.

Different Institutes & Agriculture Universities took it as a challenge and found that Neem would be the best measure to restrict this. Different research work, innovative trial have been conducted and concludingly it has been experienced that along with the chemical fertilizer viz., UREA, DAP. Neem based product may be used which could help to balance the fertility of soil.

Margozyme is a Neem based product. It is effective in retarding the nitrification of urea for about too week if it is used with Urea.

How it Works

Neem based MARGOZYME has been utilized successfully as a Nitrification inhibitor and imparting slow release characteristics to urea in soil. When MARGOZYME powder is mixed with urea, its tiny particles stick with urea granules and during its application in soil, its process of leaching tends to become very slow.

Due to its slow release character, plants take appropriate quantity of Nitrogen for a long period. It is very much popular among the Indian farmers. After its use, due to residual Nitrogen in the soil, succeeding crops give additional yield year after year.

How to Use Margozyme
